Welcome to the Anderson Lab at the College of Pharmacy!!

Our lab studies mitochondrial physiology and signaling, and how these processes become dysfunctional and cause disease. 

Research in our group spans the entire translational spectrum, combining experimental pharmacology with integrated transcript-/metabolomics (including stable isotope tracing). 

Pre-clinical testing and development of biomarkers and novel small molecules is an integral part of our research. Whenever possible, our experimental findings are validated using human tissue specimens and cell culture.
