Ethan J Anderson, PhD
In addition to the research, Dr. Anderson is Director of the Drug Discovery & Experimental Therapeutics (DDET) graduate program in the College of Pharmacy. You can often find him attending (or coaching) his kids' athletic competitions or off on some adventure with his family.
Jo Mahoney
Jo has many years of biomedical lab experience and skills. Outside of the lab, she likes to travel and attend concerts, and is very active with the Eastern Iowa Science & Engineering Fair (EISEF) for middle and high school students.
Amany Alowaisi, PhD
Amany is also a licensed pharmacist and is in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk University, Irbil, Jordan.
Rachel Crawford
Rachel's patience, perseverance and ability to innovate are qualities that set her apart from her peers. With her limited free time, she likes attending concerts and shows, with occasional trips to warm weather and overseas destinations.
Sarah Torrence
What gives Sarah a unique advantage in lab is her focus and problem-solving skills. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and most any outdoor activity.
Zeb Gnida
A former collegiate wrestler, Zeb's secret weapon in lab is his work ethic and perseverance, all traits that he employed to full effect during his athletic career. Outside of the lab, he enjoys jiu-jitsu, weight training and hanging out with friends and family.
